Titans win a BIG one!
The Titans treated football fans to a great game and even better finish on "Monday Night Football," with Tennessee coming away with a narrow 34-31 victory over the visiting Buffalo Bills.
It looked like Bills' quarterback Josh Allen would dice up the Titans' secondary, especially after several Tennessee defensive backs went down during the game. But the home team held an iron wall mentality that resulted in three field-goal drives for the Bills, two of which ended in the red zone. The defense came up big in the fourth quarter, holding Buffalo scoreless.
What did Josh Allen do? He ran it himself on fourth and one and got stuffed!
With the Bills trailing 34-31 and only 22 seconds remaining and the Titans taking over at their own 1-yard line, Ryan Tannehill happily took a knee and the game clock -- the poor Bills didn't use their last timeout -- ran down.
The Titans and Bills are both now 4 and 2. Great contest! Great things to come for these Titans!
